On the Coffs Coast...

    Fresh fruit and vegetables in season are widely available throughout the region from supermarkets, health food stores, growers markets and fruit and vege shops.

    Selected frozen organic fruit and vegetables, such as peas, beans, corn, and berries are available from most supermarkets. Organic Tomato paste, puree and passata, are available in glass containers, from all good health food stores and supermarkets. To date, no locally available BPA Free canned tomato products have been confirmed.

On the Coffs Coast...

    Fresh organic or biodynamic fruits and vegetables (local and in season) are widely available on the beautiful Coffs Coast. The main sources are Growers markets, Kombu, Cherryhaven, and a varied and limited selection from local F & V shops and supermarkets. Keep a look out for seasonal Organic Biodynamic Fruit and Vegetable at the Chess stall on Thursdays Growers Market and the increasing variety of Organic and Biodynamic seasonal F & V stalls at Bellingen Growers Market.

    A variety of dried organic or biodynamic fruits and vegetables either in bulk (from Kombu, Gourman Ingredients, Go Vita – Coffs Harbour) buy or varying pre-packaged Australian brands are available from all good health food shops and supermarkets. IGA particularly sells Australian and local pre packaged. Just remember to check the other ingredients; the product was processed with before you buy.

    Whole and powdered sea vegetables are available from well stocked health food stores. We are still to confirm unsprayed varieties.
